ATTENTION: Please read these Khazna Terms and Conditions ("Khazna Terms") before accessing or using the Khazna Application and Services. The Khazna Terms govern your access or use of the Khazna Application and Services in Egypt including (but not limited to) collection, storage, transfer and sharing of personal data, confidentiality, intellectual property ownership, third party interactions and indemnification. If you do not agree to the Khazna Terms, or wish to discontinue using the application and the services, you should not continue to use the application or access or use the Khazna Services. By continuing to access the application and by using the Services you agree to be bound by the Khazna Terms.
The Khazna Terms only relate to the use of the Khazna application and the payroll services offered by your employer.
1. Definitions
"Transaction" means the submission of a request by you as an employee for a payroll service from your Employer or as a user of the Khazna card or a recipient of a pension through the Khazna application at any of the days available on the application on any month during the term of your employment contract with your Employer or the term of eligibility of your pension to be executed by Khazna.
"Khazna Services" means the provision of payroll services by Khazna to you on behalf of your Employer or as a user of Khazna card or pension services for pensions transferred through the Egyptian National Postal Organization (the "Post").
"Khazna Service Fee" means a fixed service fee shall be charged on each transaction made by you, including value-added tax (VAT), to Khazna which will be clearly stated on the application prior to confirming the request.
2. Contractual Agreement
These Khazna Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Khazna Tech, a company registered in Egypt having its principal head office located at 11, Yousef El Guindy Street, Tahrir, Cairo, Egypt (hereinafter referred to as "Khazna"); and By downloading, installing or using the Khazna application for the purposes of opening an Account, accessing or using the Khazna Services you:
a. agree that you have read, understood, accepted and agreed to these Khazna Terms; and
b. agree that the representations made by you in these Khazna Terms will apply equally in respect of your use of the Khazna Application and Services; and
c. acknowledge and agree that Khazna and any of its group companies or sister companies or its affiliates offer the Khazna Services via the Khazna Application and that the purpose of the Khazna Application and the Services is to match and schedule the provision of payroll and pension services to users of the Khazna Application, to facilitate the payment of Transactions; and
d. acknowledge and agree that Khazna are not employed by your Employer or the Post or any other entity; and
e. acknowledge and agree to pay the Khazna Service Fee, including VAT, on each Transaction made by you and you agree that the Khazna Service Fee shall in addition to any outstanding amounts shall be paid in accordance with the repayment method clearly stated on the application prior to confirming the request; and
f. acknowledge and agree that Khazna has the right to immediately terminate your access to your account in case you breach any of these Khazna Terms and agree to repay any outstanding amounts and fees in that case; and
g. acknowledge and agree that Khazna has the right to immediately terminate your access to your account and these terms and conditions in case Khazna's agreement with the Employer or with the Post is terminated.
3. Use of Khazna Application and Services
You must have an active and valid account on the Khazna Application to use Khazna Services.
Khazna application may only be used as a tool to request the execution of a Transaction at any day available on the application during any month during the term of your employment in respect of payroll services or the term of your pension's eligibility in respect of pension services.
You acknowledge that Khazna does not levy interest on any outstanding amounts transferred on behalf of the Employer or the Post.
You may review your Transactions by logging into your account on the Khazna Application. The balance set out in the Application will serve as conclusive evidence of your Khazna Application balance.
4. Full Time Employment and Payroll and Pension Service requirements
You hereby agree that the maximum limit of the payroll or pension services (as applicable) is the amount clearly stated in the application and you agree that any request made by you in excess of these limits may be automatically refused.
In respect of payroll services: You hereby declare that you are a full time employee of the Employer and that you are not on probation period or notice period at the time of downloading of Khazna Application and/or making requests for payroll services, and that in case of breach of the above declaration you are fully responsible for any legal consequences of violating this declaration and Khazna may also refuse any request made by you.
In respect of pension services: You hereby declare that you are eligible for a pension transferred through the Post, that you have not been notified of discontinuation of your pension, and that you are not aware of the occurrence of any condition or event that makes you ineligible to receive the pension at the time you downloaded this application and/or making requests for pension services, and that in case of breach of the above declaration you are fully responsible for any legal consequences of violating this declaration and Khazna may also refuse any request made by you.
5. Flow of Transaction
You hereby agree that Khazna and/or Employer and/or the Post may review your request submitted on the Khazna application.
If you receive an approval on your Transaction on the Khazna application the amount you requested shall be deposited by Khazna in your bank or Post account, which details were provided by the Employer or the Post to Khazna, or any other bank account as requested on the selected business day.
If you receive a rejection on your Transaction on the Khazna Application you hereby agree that you have no claim to receive any requested amounts from Khazna, however you may contest the rejection reasons provided by contacting Khazna on support line 01005759825 or support@khazna.app.
If you receive a different amount in your Transaction on the Khazna Application than the amount approved you may contest the amount deposited in your bank or Post account by contacting Khazna on support line 01005759825 or support@khazna.app.
If your Transaction is approved, an electronic receipt on your Khazna Application account will reflect the amount of your Transaction (including the Service Fee).
Where Transactions have been executed, you acknowledge that transaction errors relating to such Transactions may result in a reversal of the transaction, fees, claims, penalty or chargeback from your bank and/or Employer and/or the Post. You acknowledge that it is the bank and/or your Employer and/or the Post that issues or supports the transaction you have linked to the application and that Khazna does not determine any amount reversed, returned or charged back and that Khazna is bound to follow the instructions of the bank and/or your Employer and/or the Post. You agree to authorise Khazna to work with your bank and/or Employer and/or the Post to recover any amounts owing to Khazna and if necessary you further agree to authorise Khazna to recover any amounts and/or fees due by debiting your dues from your salary at the Employer directly or your pension at the Post directly.
You agree that you will be responsible for resolving any disputes with the bank and/or the Employer and/or the Post.
You agree and commit to return any amounts and/or fees outstanding to Khazna directly as one sum immediately due to be paid to Khazna in case your relationship with your Employer has ended if you are a user of payroll services or in case your relationship with the Post has ended and/or the pension has been suspended or terminated if you are a user of pension services or in case your balance is not sufficient if you are a Khazna card user. Khazna additionally reserves the right to take any legal action allowed by law to claim the amounts and/or fees due to be paid to Khazna.
6. Customer Identification, Sharing of Data, Fraud Identification and Anti-Money Laundering
You hereby agree that to ensure the provision of services to you and to ensure your security, prevent fraud or identity theft and to comply with anti-money laundering laws and regulations (as applicable), Khazna will request information from you and from the Employer and/or the Post at the time of opening your Khazna Application Account to confirm your identity, to allow you to open and maintain a Khazna Application Account and to use the Khazna Services. We may also request from you and the Employer and/or the Post to update and verify your information from time to time. This is one way that Khazna can ensure that the only person who can access your Khazna Account is you. You hereby consent to your Employer and/or the Post sharing your information with Khazna including but not limited to the copy of your national identification card and the account number of your account at the Post as well as data of transactions concerning your account for the past three months in order to provide you with the services.
Khazna may delay your access to the application and the Services until you comply with this information request or other verification steps that may be required by Khazna at any time or in the event you provide information that is incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date.
You hereby agree and guarantee that all of the information provided at the time of application is correct, accurate, up to date, complete, and concerns your person and not a third person and that you will keep this information accurate and update it immediately as needed; you additionally agree to preserve the privacy of your password, that you are responsible for all uses of your password and account, and that you have the legal capacity, are not of minority age, and consent to the terms and conditions herein. If you know or have reason to doubt that another person knows your personal information (such as your identification code or username) and/or your password, you are required to notify Khazna immediately via the support line 01005759825 or support@khazna.app.
Khazna may, from time to time, be required to undertake financial crime screening to comply with applicable laws or regulations, in such circumstances, you agree to assist Khazna and cooperate with any requests for information.
7. Khazna Services
Khazna reserves the right to modify the scope of services for which Khazna can be used as a payroll or pension service provider to include additional products and/or modified products. Khazna may only be used in Egypt.
8. Unauthorised use of your Account and Fraudulent activity
You agree to notify Khazna immediately upon becoming aware of any fraudulent activity or theft of your Khazna Account.
Notifications may be made to Khazna via the support line 01005759825 or support@khazna.app. You are solely responsible for informing your bank and/or your Employer of any fraud related to your Transaction.
You agree that Khazna is not responsible for unauthorised use of your Khazna account. Khazna reserves the right (in its sole and absolute discretion) to suspend or void any transaction or use of Khazna Application, where Khazna suspects that Khazna's Application was obtained or used fraudulently, unlawfully, illegally, involves criminal activity or that you are otherwise in violation of these Khazna Terms.
9. Ownership
You hereby acknowledge that Khazna is the sole owner of the Khazna Application and any related products and/or services.
10. Modification to Terms
Khazna may modify any of these Khazna Terms at any time, with or without notice to you, subject to applicable law. The most current terms shall be effective upon Khazna's posting of such modified Khazna Terms. Your use of any portion of Khazna's application after such posting constitutes your acceptance of the modified Khazna Terms. If any of these Khazna Terms are deemed to be invalid, void or for any reason unenforceable, such term shall be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining terms of these Khazna Terms.
11. Applicable law and Dispute resolution
These terms and Conditions shall be subject to Egyptian law.
The Parties have agreed that any dispute arising out of or in connection with this agreement shall be referred to and finally determined by the competent Egyptian Courts.
